Yeah, my best advice is to keep checking the "for sale" forums, and see if anything pops up.

Get a hold of a sponsored pilot, or Bergen rep

and see if they might be parting with an older heli to uprgrade to a newer Bergen anytime soon. I hear sometimes they like to get a new one, and sell the older one. Who really knows?

Just as i thought.....Anyway many thanks for your help. Is there a Bergen UK sales place? Knowing the cost of heli's in the UK I'll probaly import one from the US and still save a bundle.

What Servo's/Gyro's are you guy's using? (I only understand JR products mind)

Hi Below Average,

http://www.bergenhelicopters.com/ is the place to get spares and help from in the UK. John Major has been dealing with Bergen helis for quite a few years now, so knows his stuff. I don't think he imports kits anymore, but give him a call for more info.

Remember when you import that you will have to pay import duty and Parcel Force fee.

My main experience is with the 90size glow and the 50size glow machines, but I have helped setup a few gassers.

You might check in the the For Sale section of BMFA web site, there have been on or two Bergen heli's on there recently ( very cheap too )and you could always convert a standard boom heli to EB._
