What happened to all the Shogun Chatter?

I still fly mine what about anyone else?

The Shogun seems to be the only 400 Size chopper that flys great on a 1300mah 3S lipo.

Hoverdown3K,

I was inspired to get a Shogun after seeing your video of the scale Kiowa. How difficult is it to mount the Shogun inside? I have no experience working on a scale model. I would appreciate any advice.

Thanks,

HAROLD

I'm flying mine off and on. I have a shaft/gear driven one and recently got a hubdave belt version. Haven't flown the belt version yet, hope to get it in the air in a few days. Overall I like the shoguns.

I still enjoy mine, VERY smooth flying and a 1320 gives me 9 minutes flight time using a JGF 400DH and a Cool Running H25 in governor mode that actually works.

Can't wait to get home as my Hyperion carbon 290 blade set arrived, because there thinner and stronger length wise I think I'm gonna like them better than the SAB's. I also have and use MS blades but they are much softer on punch out verticals and I think it's because the blade flexes with the balsa spar inside.

I'll be going to SEFF anyone else???

My GY240 and/or HS-56 flaked out the other day after about 7 minutes into a flight.

Tail just started spinnin' like a top.

Landed it, grabbed the T-Rex, and haven't taken the time to even look at it I was so disgusted.

Saw that video of you chasing jack around at Whittier Narrows that was quite a video looked really good considering that you could not see what was in the viewfinder. You managed to find jack's copter quite a few times. I had'nt seen anything from that perspective before looked cool! Are ya goung to do it again? Oh and how the heck are ya? And hows the new projects goin, and are ya goin to RCX or midwinter Electric in SD?

I took my 222 fuselage off (made me too nurvous to fly) and have been putting in 3 flights a week on it.

I've got it in my truck today and am going to the gym at lunch....30 min. from now...

Well anyways got a project I am finishing Briles and Wing Company A Star out of Van Nuys and also starting my MD 500 Defender. Kiwi King and I went out flying today, and we were both surprised how well my V2 handled the afternoon breezes. I like flying my Shogun and my Trex about the same.

My Two Shoguns are going strong, I have been flying them in various states for about 1 1/2 years. The are both Shogun V1's with a Hub Dave belt drives installed.

Here is what they look like today...

I took out the Hughes 300 out to the field today and the wind was blowing 12mph with gusts to about 16mph. I put a my T-rex battery in for extra weight it is a 3S 2100 10C Nothing super special and the Shogun Flew great, the extra weight helped allot in the wind. I had a blast flying the shogun today.
