| well, I can't say for 100% sure but I'm currently putting together
an FX using my old Freya.
But I have the larger fuel tank so when I ordered the FX, I told
them I needed the 'large fuel tank option'.
What that did was substitute the 2 CF frames and some ancillary parts
for fuel tank mounting.
So...........
to answer your question, no, an FX kit will not directly work because the
fuel tank size is different which requires a different frameset
(although I suppose you could buy the smaller original Freya fuel
tank) AND the Evo90 clutch setup is different (triple bearing).
You can order the Avant EFX clutch block and that would fix that problem.
Bottom line, for about $50 or so, you could back convert the
Evo90 into an FX by getting the smaller fuel tank and the new
clutch block from CarbonExtreme. |
