I, for the life of me, can't get the setting correct. The 2 rear servos (Pitch & Aileron ) are acting opposite. Viewing heli from the tail to the nose, If I move the cyclic to the left, the rear left servo goes up and the rear right servo goes down. I tried reversing the servos on the programming and doesnt do anything like I expect it to. I checked all the servos as they are plugged into the 610UL. The Left rear servo (again, looking at it from the tail) is plugged into ch6(Aux1). The right rear is in ch2(Aile) the front servo is in Elev(ch3). Ch4(rudder) is in the top portion on the 4-in-1 with the black wire toward the rear of the heli. And the upper portion of the 4-in-1 is in ch1(THRO).

Now the Radio:

Ch1 NORM
Ch2 NORM
Ch3 REV
Ch4 REV
Ch5 NORM
Ch6 REV
Ch7 NORM
Ch8 NORM

Also set to 3 Servos 120' - Heli

What can be going on? What am I missing? I did the install of the "hacked" 4-in-1 & JR610UL as per GMRO in the rotory world mag Sept/Oct and when I followed his directions, with servo reversing, ect, it was alot worse than it is now. Now the only prob is the 2 rear servos working opposite. HELP !!!! Thanks...

If you are new to CCPM I find the following is the easiest way to set it up the first time.

Firstly ensure the servo that is connected to the swash on the centerline of the Heli (the vertical one at the front in this case) is plugged in to the elevator channel. Then connect the other two servo's into the aileron and pitch channels - does not matter which way around.

Next switch on the radio (with motors not connected) ensure the radio is set to appropriate CCPM mix (120deg), clear your pitch curve, center all sticks and clear trims and sub trims then connect the servo arms so that arms are at right angles to the push rods.

Next move the collective stick and reverse servos one at a time till they are all moving in the appropriate direction (Up collective stick for positive pitch). Next try aileron and elevator inputs, do not attempt to use servo reversing to change their directions, use the swash mix ratios (Change from +60% to -60% for example if direction is wrong).

Now all inputs should be working in the correct direction fine tune the swash ratios to get suitable pitch and cyclic deflections and use sub trims to level the swash out at center stick if required. Use the end point adjusts on each servo individually to make sure swashplate stays level at full deflection up and down.

From here you should be able to use your pitch curves and dual rates as normal to fine-tune it to suit your flying style.

Thanks Gary, changing their directions using the swash mix ratios worked for thr 2 rear servos. Thats workinmg fine. Now the problem seems to be the front servo. The front servo is moving up with forward stick instead of down. When I try reversing the servo it freaks out the other 2 servos. What Can that be? I appriciate the input !!

Vendetta,
Go back and read the instructions again. You must plug the front servo into the elevator channel of the Rx. After that use servo reversing to make the swash move and down properly. On the Blade the swash moves down for positive pitch and up for negative. Once the collective is working properly do not go back and reverse any of the servos anymore. Do all of the other correcting with the swash mix ratios. If this does not work re-verify that the front servo is plugged into the elevator channel.

Thanks Gary, I got it. Servo was fine.

End Results:

Aile -60%
ELEV 60%
PIT 60%
