| If your a beginner and you get the CX first and learn to fly it in all orientations, It will save you the cost of the CX in CP parts (or what ever second heli you get).
I got a CX for my 9yo son two weeks ago, he was really stuggling with the CP and never got it off the ground. after 12 days on the CX, he hovered my "BCP" in the gym last night...nice and steady..eye level. He hovered the CX on the first battery charge....store stock setup. Big smiles were priceless.
BTW, my BCP is more a frankinblade. Full brushless 2500 hs, w/Heading hold GY240, Bell hiller...yada...yada....!!! He set his feet, relaxed his shoulders, spun it up and lifted to two feet with only a foot or so slide to the left. I was impressed big time.
Later that night, he was back to landing the CX on shoe boxes in our basement.
IMO the CX is a great confidence builder...and a total kick to fly around the house.
