Yes, I know I could ask this on another forum, but I don't trust anyone that doesn't fly a Bergen. Can anyone recommend a particular head tach? I have used minature tachs about 20 years ago, but don't fly in a club anymore and need my own.

Either the MA tach or the Model Avionics tach are both good ones.

I haven't owned the Model Avionics one, but I have used it and it's more compact and is an LCD shutter. It works real nice. If I were in the market, I'd be getting the Model Avionics one this time around.

I use a Model Avionics Tach. It works very well and is cheaper than the MA Tach

Wow Flap,

That seems a little harsh. Just cuz they made a poor decision and didn't buy a Bergen doesn't mean they don't know how to chose a tach.
Not everyone can be as sharp as us
