His profile says he's from Edgewood, Maryland.

I bought an engine from him and have not received it yet and also am not getting responses to my PM's.

If anyone knows him and can give me his telephone # that would be nice, then I could call him and ask what's up.

Yeah, I saw that post, unfortunately it was after I made the deal. Time will tell, I guess.

I bought a TT .50 from him. It took him a month to ship it, and it's useless. Might as well be a paperweight. Good luck.

Wow, the ground was closer than I thought.

Hang On....

I have dealt with Scott and it was a pleasure and a good deal... but I think that he has some health issues and I am pretty sure that is why he has not been on line or responded...
Like I said, my deal was smooth and very good..
I know it is tough to have to wait, but hang on and I am sure he will do right by you.... and hope that he is OK at the same time..

Stan

If there is a cure for this, please don't tell me about it!!!

Am getting a LOT of PM's about Scott

And they are ALL bad news!! Wish I had this info before the transaction. I did look at the good guy list and there were some favorable posts, but there isnt a clear cut "bad guy" list.

RR needs to have a "bad guy" link on everyones classifieds posting as well as the "add me to good guy list" link.

I may get the motor, eventually, but I dont usually buy an item from a guy just to buy it and use it ten years from now. I buy it cause I need it NOW! Oh well, in the mean time I have a NEW motor coming from Heliproz, and will sell the one I get from Scott, if I get it.

What the heck is wrong with Scott?

Dave, if there is a paper trail file in small claims court and he may be required by law to come to Colorado for a court appearance? You might want to call an attorney to verify this! Many attorneys will give you 30 minutes to an hour for free. If you used the USPS there may be an issue of mail fraud?

Scott it would be cheaper and less troublesome to just send Dave the motor or refund his money!

While I can certainly sympathize with a person in poor health or dealing with a chronic illness, here's what has me stumped in this case:

If this person is having difficulty fulfilling obligations due to his health, why does he continue to engage in transactions? It strikes me that if he has the ability to successfully negotiate a transaction, then he should also have the ability to fulfill that transaction in a timely manner (emergencies notwithstanding).

It is extremely unfair to the buyer when the seller happily accepts the buyer's cash and then decides to hold up his end of the bargain "when he get around to it." This seems to be the recurring motif with this particular seller and it's BS, plain and simple. In short, if you know you may have problems fulfilling an obligation, then don't enter into the agreement.

Latest update

Still no word from helihi. Dont think you can use the sick and in the hospital excuse, as I have been with my daughter now for 8 days solid at the hospital and am still getting things done that need to be done.

So if anyone knows this guy, tell him I want my money back!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dont need the motor, as I have bought a new one from Heliproz and they had it to me in three days!!

There's a big difference between your daughter in the hospital, and yourself.

Stop taking up for the A-holes. You take a guys money and you better send his item or be dead. There is absolutley NO excuse for not sending out something that is paid for. It only takes a couple of minutes to send a guys stuff out in the mail. I get so tired of watching people get ripped off by RR members just to have all of the bad guys cronies make all kinds of excuses as to why it happened. Integrity seems to be a thing of the past.

***, Rotor-trash. You have absolutley no idea what is going on with him. There are 3 facts at work here. 55crownvic paid and didn't get his product, and helihi has proven himself trustworthy in the past. The third is that Helihi has had some problems that have put him in the hospital a few times and caused delays.

F-it, this is pretty easy to solve, pick up a damn phone and call the man. I'll give him a call in a few hours and see what's going on. He's been very trustworthy in the past, something major has to have happened to cause this, I'll call and find out what it is.

I placed a few calls, and wasn't able to get anyone, but then again, most people aren't in the house this time of day. I left messages on a few answering machines, hopefully I'll hear back later today.
