Gang, The pilot's name is Craig Oku. Craig is flying with 550mm Rotortech, he claims it is the best one, thus far for his inverted autos. I will post more info. and setup.

Here's my attempt at a paint job on the Swift canopy.

Sanded a bit using 220, cleaned with diluted water and then a few light coats of Krylon Fusion.

Did the same on the stock blades. Just taped it off and gave it a quick spray.

... But honey it was only $$$

Kook - looks nice. I especially like the blades - I see you did the top and bottom's. I had put some $4 silver glitter tape on my blade ends but genovia took them off and threw them away :0 Long story haha.

neat looking....

If my eyes are serving me correctly...was canopy originally yellow and you used red (the given) and white?

A "safety" comment......imho
white tips on blades makes its diameter more visible...of course we all know to stay away from them either way.

The obvious (tip for newbees) was that it was tracking well before the paint went on.

Thanks for sharing!!!

Thanks. It was one of the first white canopy's.

Yeah. I wasn't even thinking when I taped them off. tsk tsk

Tracking was dead on. It's off a little now but not much, so I'll just balance them. Looks great in flight though

I would think you would want a Nue 1910/1.5

Good price for that motor. What pinion would you recommend on the 1910 with 7S emoli V28 packs with woodies?

Need help with swift that shuts off after any high collective....

We got a swift with tango 45-10 motor, 11t pinion, quark 80 esc and a tanic 6s pack. We have voltage set to cut off at 3v per cell. Max pitch is 10 and 10. We can not get this thing to fly for more than 30 seconds or so. I have replaced the esc and the battery and motor. That did not help at all. Please help....we can't figure it out. Thanks!
