I got the new tail rotor today and white gears. At first I was a little worried because the bolt-bolt distance is significantly shorter on the micro-heli rotor. I thought, "great, I'm going for more holding power but I now have a smaller disc...." Well, with the 25% faster tail speed provided by the white gears, the tail is now SOLID!!!!!!!!! I even came down on the gain to go easy on the servo. Backward hurricaines, inverted tail down funnels, backward loops - PIECE OF CAKE now!! It is almost like flying my 90!!! I LOVE THIS LITTLE HELI now!! (Can you tell I'm excited?).
If you aren't flying backwards, save your money and stick with the blue gears. If you are, and the tail doesn't hold to your satisfaction - MAKE THE CHANGE!!

I got mine and it shook so hard I couldn't get to full rpm. Tried to balance and it was no good. Went back to plastic, balanced in 2 minutes and am waiting for Andy to get me some parts so I can run the metal gearbox
