| I am a first time heli owner and i went with the blade for economic reasons. i saw it as a great way to get into the hobby, see if i actually liked it, and then presue it if i wanted to, If not, in not in the whole to much. I have pretty much mastered hovering side in and tail in. I can hover inverted tail in and hover nose in on the sim, but i get the "oh sh#t" feeling when i try nose in in real life.
All in all it was a great way to get into the hobby and a great way to assess how much further i wanted to go with it. My only problem with it is that, although i can fly it great, i think it slows the learning curve substantially, because i am so much futher in the sim than in real life, and i attribute this to having to fly a ultra-light weight heli, with little flight time to get some real practice.
Mabey the lipo that is comng in the mail will remedy this a little bit, but sooner rather than later im going to go to a MX400 or possibly take the plunge and get the t rex. |
