Guys, MRC (Hirobo Distributor) also distributes MAH blades. Im sure we will see a MAH size 425mm hit the market this summer, plus some woodies from other manufacturers...

Surely sometime during the 1-2 years it takes for development and manufacturing of the Lepton it would dawn on someone that "Hey! We need to make rotor blades available at the same time as we ship kits".
If I received a kit next month, where would I get 425mm blades for it? Did someone overlook the obvious in the clamor to get this kit to market?
That's like buying a car and waiting for someone to make transmissions.
I want one but not if I have to put it on a shelf while aftermarket manufacturers catch up.

Blades are included in the kit I guess, like every hirobo heli.

Most Hirobos in the US don't come with blades. I do agree, though, I'm sure it will come with them.

Yes Hirobo blades are included and we will have them as spares when the helis are available. Our first sample should be here this week. After that I can answer more specific questions.

Thanks for holding tight.

Maybe they took some idea from it, but I dunno. More based on the Evo itself imho.

Just herd that the full combo deal of KIT,BATTERY,MOTOR,SPED CONTROLLER AND CHARGER,will be available in about 6-8 weeks here in the UK and going to be around the 900 UK pounds price mark!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally,i want just the kit and use own electrics, starting with the faultless Kontronic Jazz line of speed controllers and probably Flightpower Uk EVO30 lithiums.

Hope you guys in the states get some good testing done,as we in the UK seem to get everything LAST and pay double for it

Jeff Green should have a full batt size report for us by weeks end...

Personally, I can't wait. I don't think it is overpriced at all, considering that the Trex SE is $450 + $100 (for a decent tail with no slop in the slider mechanism) + $80 for a swash plate that doesn't wear out in two weeks. I just hope it isn't too big to fly in the park next to my house....

The real question will be which to buy, this or the new MA electric. Prices should be similar, of course batteries will be more for the MA, but it'll be bigger. Hopefully we'll see some videos soon. I'm also hoping that packs made from the new V28 cells that people are making from tool batteries will work well. Those have tremendous price/performance.

Our sample kit arrived and building has commenced. It is really nice and is on the level of a true EX like that of an Eagle or Freya WC!

Give me a break! lol I have until tomorrow. Then I will be behind, like usual, if I do not post updated info! LOL LOL LOL

Thanks for the persistence, and keeping me on my toes.

LOL

I agree, I wonder if this will replace my Logo 10, Zoom/Shogun and that T-Rex I was thinking of getting.

I hope the blade manufacturers are in the loop and in the process of making some decent blades for this heli.....

What I Am hoping for is the battery makers TP, Max Amps, Hyperion and others, make packs to fit.
