Hi everybody, thought I'd introduce myself with a sad tale.
Been flying planks since Pontius was a pilot. Mostly electric of late.
Chilling out at a mates house, and he gave me a go with his new toy, a Bladerunner. As soon as I found myself trying to fly circuits around his television, I was hooked.
Soon after, I had my own bladerunner, closely followed by a Bell 47, cursed E-Bay.
Fleet now numbers 5, and I am well and truly on my way to the dark side.
Number 6 is the reason for this post. I have aquired a second hand LMH corona. It needs a rebuild and a few new bits, but overall is in good nick. Finances only permit me to equip it with what I already have. I am thinking a Mega 16/15/4, CC35 esc and 8 cell NiMh.
How good will this combination be, and can anyone suggest the correct pinion size. I will not need high power, my flying is not that good yet, but long duration would be handy.
I will have to buy a Gyro. PG03 seems popular and reasonable price. Would this work well with my set up? Has anybody tried the Cyclone PG03 from RC Smart on E-Bay.
I know it is a ripoff, but is it any good?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I would suggest to save for a better gyro, that is something you want to have. It makes flying so much easier when the tail stays locked.

I know the cheap prices of some gyros make them seem like a deal, but if they don't work well they end up costing you in crashes.

-= I know there is Money in RC helicopters. I put it there=-
