e-JR Voyager E > JR Voyager E Replacement Parts Are Too Expensive!!!

It was a bad day for me. I had crashed my Voyager E. It stripped both the intermediate and main gears and broke the mixing lever arm. Checking on a few online stores for the cost of the replacement parts, I was shocked. The 2 gears alone cost over US$50.

Does anyone know where I can get them cheaper? I don't mind to have to order online from HongKong, China or somewhere in Asia.

Thanks for the help.

I am not sure you will find them cheaper, you might be able to get them from Ebay, but that is the Bane of the VE, the parts cost too much!

I have seen a CNC intermediate gear, but that was about it for aftermarket gear parts.

The V-E is a good starting heli. Stable, flies in the wind..

You really need to buy the after-market intermediate gear(Delron).

Now your mechanical fuses are the spindle shaft (a good thing), the main blades, and unfortunately perhaps the servo gear sets.

So, if you are still in the blade strike phase of learning, have an extra blade set, servos gear trains, and spindle shaft on hand.

But she is a good ship - I learned on her, and still fly her, upgraded for my present capabilities (aerobatic) with the QJ-15 head fom Harold.

Can you tell me where I can find the after-market intermediate gear (Delron)? Do you have a link to a web site? How much is it?

Thanks.

Try looking here under voyager upgrades for a CNC intermediate gear.

I have ordered from these folks in the past and they have been very prompt. Like everyone says though, expensive$$$$$
