need pics of swift with v28 - batteries

Can someone post pics of the Swift with the V28 batteries installed -

Also - where is the best place to buy a Swift and parts - I'd like to avoid buying it from Century direct since they are in CA and I'd have to pay tax - any suggestions would be appreciated.

Those are the milwaki V28's - I did not think they were as long and flat as this. When you take them out of the OEM package do you separate the cells (flatten) - or leave them in the same config?

1830 seems a respectable HS.Going down a bit always feels a bit disapointing at first but one quickly gets used to it.
If she flys ok,i wouldnt worry.Glad its running a bit cooler.
All my electric helis have always run pretty hot to some degree or other, with the exception of the Neu which does appear to run cooler.Although never destroyed a motor in a heli yet, plenty in planes though!
In one heli i made a cooling tube right over the motor with 2 computer fans in series blowing through the tube down on the motor, that worked excellant.Good luck...

Tornado 2220 packs,4 packs made into a 6S2P pack.
Theres a good deal for 2 packs now at Overlander;http://www.overlander.co.uk/detail....d=%2D100&ID=539
packs come down almost cold, had over 50 flights so far,no loss of capacity, they are a bit lighter than the specs too.
Did plenty of searching and research before purchase and these were the most suitable.
These Welgrades are pretty good too, similar price, again making a 6S2P from 4 packs of 2000mah,touch heavier, but extremely tough cells.
had about 8 packs, used in powerful planes, high amp draw, cells could take it.

Looking to get a large elctric the size and cost of the swift are very appealing to me...is this a good choice..

Yes - and I like it so much that I'd like to get a second one. Now that's saying something.

Why simplify when it's simpler to complicate.

Don't forget the spare parts!

I hate waiting on parts!

Unless you can get another 25 bux off then

http://www.fxaeromodels.com/index.php?cPath=49_190_193

is the cheapest on parts and Century being second since they offer "free shipping" on all orders over $49.99!

FX is lightening fast on shipping though, I have recieved parts in as little as 2 days.
