HOLY MOLY!!!!! Talk about a heli beating itself to death! Well, even though it looks like pilot error, when your as good as that guy is how mad can ya get? It looked like he got crossed up doing a piro flip close to terra firma. Man, I wish I was that good!

I keep a 12 gauge handy for just such occasions. Once she goes lame you gotta do the right thing and put her on down.

Man, that was a Tasmanian Devil Dancing! About staying away from the heli until it finishes beating itself to death, what I have done is to throw my T-shirt on the heli to stop the beating.

Doesn't matter if it's e-power or not. The heli crashed because the receiver pack died. In fact, if the heli had been e-powered it would have kept going until the battery died since the pilot had not control. The reason he was able to finally stop it was because the clutch finally fried. If it was e-powered the only he would have had would have been if the main gear stripped.

If an ESC doesn't receive a continue signal from the rx, it will shut off, so e-machines would behave quite differently.

I felt bad for that guy last time I saw the vid, but then I had a WORSE crash shortly thereafter...
So there was my Evo50 on its side doin' the funky, with me waiting for the clutch to go yelling for a blanket. Wouldn't you belive the dang thing stood back up on its skids with 2 "halfish" rotor blades and started spooling back up! Being totally out of balance it didn't take too long to fall over on the other side and start all over again!

Wish I had a vid of it, though there would be a lot of "beeps"!
