| Ok, I have a little input on the Bell mixer since I've read all the pros and cons.
Saturday I broke the rotor head and that alone was a good excuse to go to the hobby shop! I got a new aluminum swash plate, rotor head, hub and spindle, main motor heat sink, tail gear and shaft, 2 sets of blades and the Bell Mixer.
After replacing all the parts did a quick servo and linkage check to make sure all was functioning properly and then took it out for a test flight.
WOW!!!!!!
I am a lot better pilot than I thought!!!!!. I really like the responsiveness of the heli now. It flies like the one I fly on the sim with very little response delay. Anyone that is struggling to get this heli in the air and control it should add the Bell mixer!!!! It definately took the work out of flying!! |
