[quote]Is the 12.49 ok or would that be considered over charged?

No ,it's fine. 12.60 Volts is max. My MKII stopped at around 12.20
My Astro Flight 109 stops at 12.60 resting. I doubt you'd notice much difference in run times.

Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly better than I can pilot them

Cyclicpitcher,

That is eactly right, I throw mine behind the seat of my truck and charge on my tail gate at the field. I have been toying with the thought of making a little field box to carry it around, but the sound of something with wheels is better.

My battery is about as heavy as a large car/truck battery, so you don't want to carry it far.

I could charge off this battery all day at the field with my poly4 charger. Don't need to worry about draining my truck battery (which are not meant to be deep cycled!). I keep it trickle charging on my garage bench and use it to charge at home for flying in my backyard. It is awesome for what I need.

I am not sure how expensive these batteries are, I traded an Xbox game for mine

u did well

Murp, you traded well because I believe those are around 80 bucks at least. I have seen some yellow plastic wheeled toolbox with a handle I think at Lowes the other day. Didn't check the price but if that battery would fit in the bottom and you mounted the poly on the top somehow, that could be a cool setup.
