I pick one up today 94.00 not bad for all you get . The frame is great very strong and the parts fit very well it is ultra smooth for the pitch arm set up... if your thinking about getting one they are very nice just take your time building it ...

Hey knotted

That is the Dx reciever and it is very small and light. I just used double sidded tape to hold it in place and a piece of a credit card and glued that to the frame i also ran all the wires between the 2 front servos it took some time but well worth it. I will shorten the leads next week so there will be no clump of wires in the front.

I take it this is the new Align HDE CF frame you are talking about?

I have a 450XL, what extras do I need to change up to the new frame?

Any help appreciated.

Sorry if I sound a bit thick, does this mean that I can use everything from my XL and put it in the CF frames.

Looks nice Bulldogs..

How much slop is there in the mechanism compared to the platsic HDE's?
I'll be interested to know how it flys.. And crash 'survival-ness'!

I see very little if any compared to the plastic... I dont think you would be sorry. As far as crashing i fly within my ability and do push it much. The only time i crashed the xl was when i had a motor cut out 9 months ago. So i cant tell you how it will handle a crash but ive seen some big crashes with the SE frame and they all come out without breaking the frame...

thanks guys !!!

One thing nice about this frame in a crash is the stacked design. If you break the skid mounting points for example you can replace the bottom frame without having to take apart the whole heli to replace the entire frame.
