Guido,
Check the tail drive shaft fit in its bearings. In RC Groups there are long threads about this problem.

also the tail grips arent perfect, you might have to adjust the tension of the screws that hold the tail rotor blades in, too tight will cause vibration, too loose will cause vibration as well.

thanks for your help. I checked the tail, but can´t find problems. I think the vibrations come with the main rotor. When I´m running without the main blades, the vibrations are gone. But why? I think the tension of the screws are ok, not too tight!
Perhaps different pitch values? , how can i check it?

Thank you and greetings...
Guido

could be that or the blades are a bad set. How is the tracking?

Balance your main rotor blades.....Here is a link to how it's done.

Just receive my Honey Bee King... WOW !!!
The main shaft is 3 times bigger than my Cp2 !!

This is bad blades set. Mine came with one blade 14 grams and another 18 grams. There is no way you can balance them. Even with tons of tape on the lighter blade the difference was about 2 grams and the heli was dancing like chicken without head. I am temporary using set of blades for my Honey Bee CP2. They are a bit shorter, but at least I can continue with the radio and gyro setup.

your motor will run cooler with the cp blades. Im rebuilding my king cp2 hybrid, I bought new parts and im unhappy with the amount of drag and friction the tail rotor drive shaft makes so I took it off and am going to install a brushless motor.

Hi Nikivan, have you put shims in your grips? because King`s blades grips are a lot biggers...
What did you put for the shims?

Well, I hovered it yesterday for 10 minutes and the stock motor was so hot, I almost burned my thumb when checking it.

twinring: am going to install a brushless motor.

This is my next step. I was already using brushless motor on my HB CP2 with 11 pin. I have 15 min flying time after which I only put about 850-900 mAh back to the battery (TP 1320 Pro Lite). The King from the other hand burned about 1200 mAh in my 10 min test flight with the stock motor.

I did not have to do any modifications to the grips/blades. The spare set I have for my HB (10 grams wooden blades) fit perfectly to the King's grips. I am not sure why you report they are different.

So far I like my King. It is a bit tail heavy, so I had to to a lot of Elevator trim to level it, but I need to find a better solution. I will see if I can reposition the battery to take the place of the receiver. I am also having some tail hunting, and I am using 401 gyro in HH mode. I think it is because of the slop in the tail grip slider, so I need to find a way to eliminate it. There is also a slop in the swashplate, but this seems to be bad part and the vendor agreed to replace it along with the faulty main blades set.

Hi Nikivan, Do you know a place where they have aluminium parts for the King ? (swashplate, etc...)

Or maybe this will fit:

Swashplate and blade grips..

you might be able to make them work but theres no guarantee they will unless you had them right in front of you. If you go here http://www.esky-sz.com/english/ncla...=11&nclassid=55
they are making these parts but theyve been listed as "out of stock" for the last 6 months.

actually Ive been through 3 of these motors already, they draw way too many amps, Ive tried everything twice the wires desoldered off the top to the can in midflight. The power system cant handle this heli. I tried different pinions and I even tried the 380 motor for the Honey Bee Cool, and it doesnt get the headspeed needed to fly well.

Hi,

the problem were the very very bad main blades (13g and 16,5g!)
Now I´m using t-rexx blades and its flying very well. But the main engine is getting very very hot! Is it normal?

Greetings from Germany

Hi guido, T-rex blades are much longer, so they pull more amp...

I heard some Blade Cp use plastic T-rex blades and cut it... I did not try yet.

Guido, No it is not ok..

My Cp2 is supposed to be 0 and +10

In the King book it say: -1 or 0 and +6 or +7...

I knew the stock motor is not good as I already read some of the feedback on the forums. It looks well build though. Have you tryied attaching heat sink?
