I'm getting closer to dialing this Corona in. I had a ten day hiatus due to stiff wind, but today after work I took the Corona out to see where I'm at with it. I hovered ok, just a tad of tail wag - but I didn't have trouble keeping it in my small backyard. I need about 20'-30' radius to maneuver the thing. My brother in law can hover his Trex450SE in a phone booth, so I'm taking a lot of crap from him about how much acreage the Corona needs. The cyclic response is better since I went through and freed up the stiff ball links by doing the "squeeze the metal ball procedure".
I did have some tail response issues, and I remembered computerbob's advise of the spider gear. Sure enough I had almost a 1/16" of an inch of slop between the spider gear and collar. I guess I didn't watch assembly too close there. I also had some slop in the hole on the servo arm, so I changed the arm out. Now there shouldn't be any play in the linkage. That's got to help, right ??
