Hi...I just got a fun piccolo from a trade, This is my 1st electric heli, the problem is that i cant figure how to make the little thing work, the setup is not the piccoboard, is the rec 2 speed controllers gyro......
the problem is that the head will turn, but the tail motor wont....what i'm i supposed to do? I heard of mixing the collective with the tail? any help would be apreciated.... by the way...I'm using a JR 8103 radio.....

are you waiting for the Piccoboard to initialize before moving it...if not the tail wont work

I dont have the piccoboard, I have the separate components, receiver, gyro and 2 speed controllers...I cant figure how to setup the tail (I heard of mixing the collective with the tail to make the speed controller work) but I'm not sure what to do.....

Do you have a gyro plugged into the tail speed control? Have you tried plugging the speed control into the RX just to see if it works on a channel you know you can control? Usually the ESCs have to initialize before they will speed up, so you can't have a hot start. You might try holding the stick all the way to one side to get it to initialize, or try plugging it in with the stick all the way to one side. Sorry I can't be too specific, I've got a hornet... Hope some of this helps.
