Someone has enquired the above heli. We have confirmed with Align that they didn't have this kind of heli for release. It seems like the cheap copy from some China companies. The company even use the "T-Rex" name as their copied heli.

Anyone here hear about this heli?

Man China has really stepped it up big time. Release the copy before the original goes out. Wait a minute may be this is the original since it's out first. Oh whatever the case I will wait till everyone tears it apart and ALIGN fixes the bugs before I ever jump in head first. There will be an SE you can bet on that....

Looks to me like a China knockoff as well - I travel to Asia frequently and you would be amazed at how many of the Heli's are knocked off and for sale over the border in Shenzhen.

My first Walkera came from there - Then I got smart and invested in 2 T-Rex 450 XL's

The Communist needs to learn about being original...i ve seen fellow fliers here invested hundreds of dollars on a walkera...thinking its more affordable than a T-REX. What happen? They regret, i mean how can u compare a knock off to a T-REX?

I was a SUCKER and bought one .
Could not trim it and only got of the ground ones
and than nearly hitting me and my 7Year old daughter .
It was a 22a with brush less motor . What a mess after .
Now it is somewhere at the dump under tones of rubbish and where it belongs .

It just revved up and cam backwards and I had no control .
It happen about 4 feet in front of us but the heli was about 10-15 away when I started .
Tail hit first and you can imagine what happened to the rest .

Suckered as well!

A Walkera Dragonfly #35 was my first heli, almost made me want to quit before I got started! The #35 is a knock-off of the Shogun. The directions were a joke with very poor translations: "please not to eat battery" or my favorite, "if broke, please fix" Even the diagrams showed different helicopters! In one diagram they had a head with the flybar assembly mounted above the main rotor and the next page showed the flybar mounted below! Ha ha ha, LOL!
On a more serious side, it came with LiPo batteries and a wall wort charger with NO INSTRUCTIONS. I just plugged it in and went to the store to kill time while it charged. I could've burned my house down!
I sold it for less than half what I paid and I think I got a great deal on the sale. Money down the drain. I totally agree, these pieces of junk shouldn't be allowed into the U.S. or any other country for that matter, and the e-bay sellers who move knock off T-rex and Shogun "upgrades" should be censured. Just my opinion...

They have been doing it for century's, much of our military equipment has been copied over the years, along with others. Look at the South Korean K1 battle tank, Look familiar, its a smaller clone of the M1 Abrams, but with the german Leopard tanks fire control system. The french even have copies of a couple things, as I'm sure everybody does.

Best solution is to not buy none original products, If it seems like a good deal or to good to be true, it is.
