Compass Knight 50 > 14MZ on the Knight 50

Need help with the swash setup on the Knight 50. The 14MZ has the 120 settings and the settings are correct but facing rear instead of normal.

I have tried all reverses and swapping servo functions. I can make it work by hardware reversal of J3 for pitch function and then reversing the throttle to be correct, but that throws off F/S, Idle trim etc.

Anyone set one up yet?

Go into the Swash menu, and then on the right hand side you will see Swash AFR, you need to probably change the pitch from what ever it is -/+ to the other.

The whole swash is like it's 180degres out of phase though; which it really should be by the 14MZ program.

I you stnad from the front looking aft all the control movements are correct, if that helps.

It would appear logically that, if I could rotate the phase 180degrees I would be golden.

What is backwards? You might have to reverse a servo, or like Dokey says switch the AFR from + to -. I had to do that on the Avant, since the elevator is in the back.

reversing the servo does just that but it screws up most everything else.

what you REALLY want to do is reverse the +/- of the swash mix
for the FUNCTION. That will flip it the 180 degrees (logically)
w/o screwing up anything else.

The reason I said there might be a servo reversed is that that might need to be done, or even change channels with Aileron and Pitch can also cause a problem. I have had to play with the setings befor to get it just right.

For example, on my Avant I could get everything working but the pitch was reversed, so thats when I switched the AFR on the swash page for the pitch from + to -, fixed that problem. But I do have my Aileron servo reversed for it to work correctly.
