e-Lite Machines Corona > Short (nitro) blades on Corona?

I see some references to people cutting Corona blades down to 10 inches and using the 6-grips. Will this work with the short nitro blades (I don't know how long they are)? Any comments on battery life or headspeed? Thanks!

A few people fly with 110 blades. I think they have a built-in pitch of 2 degrees. (Where as 120s have 0 deg.) Head speed will be higher and battery life a bit shorter. I've used cut-down 120 (about 11 inches) and lost about 1 minutes in flight time, but with 6-dot grips the heli was very smooth and relaxing. I just looked at the shopatron.com for LMH 110 blades, but didn't see any being offered.

I'm flying the LMH 100 with 10 in. blades and 4 dot grips and HI MAX 35 motor and get 18 mins run time with two 1320 TP batts in parallel. Worked very well till I stripped the front tail rotor gear the other day. works great.
