JR Heli Vibe - Airskipper - Sylphide - Venture > IMZ 50 Questions?

Got my IMZ50 flying in a new voyager. Was wondering what everybody's using for a needle valve setting, and what type of run time your getting?

I left mine at factory setting, but am only getting 6 minutes to a tank with a 2 oz header, using Coolpower 30%. I'd atleast like to get 8 or 9 minutes to a tank. I also heard rumors JR was coming out with a larger tank for the Voyager, anybody hear anything??

Thanks

This is just my thinking...

I think most 46 size helicopter has a fuel tank for .46 size engine before 50 engine came out and KSJ has bigger fuel tank for Ergo46, but I think you can use that...I wish I would know the part number, but I don't.

Using the KSJ tank I get about 11-12 minutes on CoolPower 30.
That is mostly on FFF with some aerobatics, flips and tumbles.

I used to get about 7:30 on the standard tank. My main needle is on the limit of what *they* say is minimum, but I think it is still too rich.

Jeff, you should leave the needle at the factory setting until it breaks in some. Them start leaning it. Patience during break-in, pays off later.
