It sounds like some of us will be doing the flying first, then the meeting and for others it will be the meeting first, then the flying.

I'll probally get to the field around 7:00~7:30ish.

Cool,
I would imagine that we'll wait for the meeting until everybody gets to the field....maybe 1:00.

a few of us are meeting up for breakfast at 9:00 and then heading to the field.

I guess I will be there as well. Perhaps I might even have a Raptor ready to put fuel too. But I will have to get my fanny in gear and get some serious work done tonight. I will probably bring it out ready or not. Sometimes just being at the field is incentive for me to get some work done.

I don't know if I will be able to meet you guys for breakfast or not. But I intend to fly.

For those concerned....or just wondering...
I have made a frequency Board
We normally dont use one because there's never more than 4-5 pilots there. But with this many heli's...we dont want confusion.
I will have it ready for saturday morning.

Good looking Javier with the Frequency board. We will definitely need it. Hey having the meeting at 1 will probably be too late for me as I have to work tonight and Saturday night and will need to be leaving the field around 1. I guees I will have to catch you guys on the next meeting.

Texas Renegade Rotorz is Born

We have a name nailed down and a start of the first central Texas Heli only club. Texas Renegade Rotorz has a nice ring to it I think.

As more info is available we'll post it.

Thanks Joe!

No problem man, I was hungry too ya know!

I had a hell of a fun time out there. I got to see some truly amazing flying. I got to see Rick do some really smooth flying along with some awesome auto's. Then I got to see Kenny do his first auto(s) on his Rappy 50.(Looking good Kenny!) Tim was hard on the Rappy 90 and easy on the auto's. I got a flying buddy (you know who you are) to auto my Evo for the first time.....now I know for sure it is entirely possible. RCtaz did a full flopping inverted bounce auto, and also got to see Bigcheese almost cheese his pants on an attempted auto.(Nice save Javier)

I had an overall awesome day, and the weather could not have been any better. I hope to do this again very soon.

Later,

Joe

BTW.....can my picture be photochopped in the group pic?

Its to bad that pookie is not a part of it.

Thanks to all that is helping make this happen.

Well Guys I want you all to know That I had a truly great time hanging out with you all today. Though I didn't get in the air for technical difficulties ( Thanks Kenny for the Servo, thanks to all for your assistance), I enjoyed watching you all fly. I think starting the club is a GREAT Idea. I got to witness some awesome flying today as well as a few awesome saves. I look forward to flying with you all.

RCtaz, I think this is the best thing that could have happened for us Heli pilots. Good Looking out.
