The time it takes to get an Avant is always dependent on where in the batch time frame you place your order. I bet Tom placed the order the day one batch was finished and then he got his shipped the next day. If he had taken a couple of days more then he would have had to wait a lot longer.

The EVO-90 black nylon countergear seems to fail only when it's extremely cold. Using the Delrin one seems to prevent that.

Well I received an e-mail from Carbon Extreme that said my Avant was shipped today, even gave me a tracking number. Can't wait! It is going to be a busy weekend I think!

As far as the delrin counter gear. I can't find one anywhere so I am going to use the stock one for now. Since it hardly ever gets below 60 degrees here where I am, I shouldn't have a problem. I HOPE!

I ordered a EFX kit at the beginning of March and it took almost a month to receive it. I also ordered the programmable head and got it in less than a week. Just like the previous post said, it depends where they are in the batch of orders.

So far the build has been uneventful and very precise. Can't wait to get this puppy airborne!
