Now that's a loaded question! Basically size is the answer. The QJ8 is about twice the size of the Trex and the QJ16v2 is about
1 1/3-1 1/2 times larger than the 8. With care, the Trex could be run indoors but I wouldn't try that with either QJ!

i started with blade cp, converted to Futaba tx and its fine and easy for me...

r-rex...wicked headspeed and "skittish"....not a problem just high headspeed is scary sounding...

QJ-8....slow headspeed...relaxing hover (no pucker factors like the trex)...and the sound is AWSOME...

you will be pleased with qj8...im saving for qj16 as we speak..

Oh, im new but can now hover all my birds full packs and now rotating/moving/FF...the blade is fun, the qj8 is fun, thew trex is interesting and fun!

PS: i can hover full pack on all 3 in the garage...if they are setup well, its possible but the qj8 is BIG...BIG
