I bought my QJ8 months ago and it flies fine but it's got no power at all. It's running a AXI 2820/10 on 14.4 volt lipo I forgot what the pinion is but it's already bogging and my head speed is around 1900. Should I trash the AXI and put on a KONTRONIK TWIST 37 and use my 14.4 lipo or should I go up to 6S lipo? or is the Twist wrong also.

Ok I now know the Twist is never going to work so is running 2 -4s1p packs in series a bad idea with the Axi 2820 ? and anyone got a clue what pinion to use? Thanks to all

My guess is that your battery is going "south". How many times have you charged it? I put a little tick mark with a Sharpie on my batteries each time they are charged. Once they get to 50 charges I begin saving up for a new one!

Henry might have somethin there

I bought this heli used a while ago and its been a dog on power since the day I got it,,another guy on RR uses this setup and said his is like a rocket..lol maybe his rocket and my rocket are from different planets, anyway since I never had the Tanic 4s1p packs new I got no clue if there just worn or what, they do charge up to 16.something. and the guy that sold me them said 1 of them was almost new and I do beleive him. Lastly whats odd is sometimes the QJ8 does seem to have more power and actually has some descent climbout, could it be my CC45HV maybe? anyone have these issues ?

could be internal in the packs....like a connection makes and power...open and less power...or better yet, would act more like internal short....cause if open, BIG loss...



i dont know the esc, but what is there is a govener or limiter or some gizmo not set right???
