Um, madcratebuilder..

From where to where did you measure the H2 boom? I think your 11in is from where it exits the frame instead of it's full length from gear to gear.

also if I'm not mistaken the OD on the tailboom is closer to 7.5mm

tailboom for H2 is 7.6mm pretty close there pcdonovan.. ever since I found out I had the wrong stuff i've been researching like crazy.

Here are the manuals in pdf. for all of the hornet range you have seperate instructions and drawings for each. Great site to book mark. I have already started to install X3d parts on my H II if any of you guys have the plastic hiller, and have had the little posts break away from the hiller main section, use the X3d part the hiller mixer arms attach via bolts no more plastic crap post and ca'ing that little rubber grommet. Its a direct replacement.

:Heard that.... I did try to go back to my LHS to try to exchange the old one with the plastic posts for the new x3d bell-hiller head.. but to no avail...

Captain Chaos, you are correct I measered frame to rear gear.


pcdonovan, my H2 boom is 7.57 when I bother to get the dial calipers out. I was eyeballing it.
The point is the h2 boom is about 1in longer and 1mm larger in diameter.
Obviously larger than the Hornet fp, cp or cpx.
