| I just bought a Hornet II from some guy but don't know if the tail boom was modified. Here's what happened, I received the package and he included a pair of CF symetrical 260mm blades which I threw them on and spooled her up. Well everything was ok till I pulled back on the elevator stick and it took out my tail rotor blades. It broke the pitch slider deal from the tail rotor. After measuring up, the main blades can easily take out the verticle fin and servo. Does anyone know what the measurements are on the stock tail boom for the Hornet II, mine measures exactly 11" or 279.4mm? If I do have a stock tail boom then what could be the problem, I though the H2 was supposed to have a longer tailboom than the cp? Even if I spin the main blades by hand it will hit the tail rotor on every other turn. Looking at my honey bee cp2, with both the tail blades and main blades fully extended, they are still inches away from hitting each other Honey Bee has a 12" tailboom..Looking at the hornet the main blades could almost rest on the verticle fin thats way back by the tail gears..hhmm someone help..
Thanks,
