let me see if I can tranlsate what he said in Spanish above:

I don't know English well enough to express myself on this forum.
I have used online translators but they don't work very well.
I wish for my message to reach everyone so this doesn't occur again.
If someone desires, I can explain it in Spanish.
It seems to me that my first post using online translators came out bad.

Fernando,
Cuidate.

TRANSLATION:
Fernando,
I'm sorry this happened to you. but I can tell you that you are not the first and you won't be the last. First of all, take care of yourself so you can recuperate. the helicopters can wait. Never fly without a companion being with you.
some years ago, in starting the motor to my Bell 222, it started like all get up, and I tried to pull my hand back but it cut my finger in such a way my wife almost fainted. Take care.

We all wish you well Francisco. No one deserves to get hurt flying our machines. Things just happen sometimes.

Is that right? -so "thou shalt not kill" doesn't enter the picture then?
bloody hypocrite!
I HATE that misinterpretation of the original Hebrew! The correct translation is "Thou shall not murder" ...Huge difference.

This is an old thread, but we would like to know how you have done since the accident ?
I always wear safety glasses and have even worn a motorcycle helment when flying my gasser after making changes to the setup. Yeah, it looks dumb but since I often fly on my property (can't see another house for miles) it is OK to look dumb. I have seen several head and face injuries from model helicopters and it is scary if your machine goes berserk and chases you down.

Support bacteria. They're the only culture some people have. !

Very cool! Glad to see you are back at it!

So did you regain 100% vision in your left eye?

Good luck!
