You seem like two intelligent and likable people who have come into conflict over a situation that has been blown out of all proportion.

O.K. Guys, this is not rocket science.

1. doorman sends carb back to Jared J (if its no use to him he has nothing to lose).

2. Jared J sends carb back to supplier (even if it’s a special, if its been sold as the wrong one he is due the correct item or his money back).

3. Jared J sends correct carb or money back to doorman.

Everyone’s a winner folks.

Flattery will get you nowhere. Are you a little defensive? A little sensitive maybe?

I also know doorman personally..... if he says the carb received is not the right carb, you can take that to the bank.....

Mistakes do happen but ultimately, it's the seller's responsibility to ensure the buyer is happy with what he gets.....

If Jared got the wrong carb from the mower company it should be up to him to get the right one or take the wrong carb back....

OUCH!!!! Jimmi

No problem, but for future reference "Ace Dude" is two words. Looks like that investment could already be paying off.

Whining!!!!

First I would like to say thanks for all of the support....
As far as for the people that thought this was "whining" SORRY.. but you took it the wrong way...
I made this post to let others know what this "member" pulled... I never expected for him to take it back once I posted this, but as you can see I did give him every opportunity to make it right first. The bottom line is that the guy screwed me over and wasn't man enough to make it right...and I felt it best for others to know.. and you can "spell" that anyway you would like to....
As far as this carb goes.... it is in the trash.... done deal!!!!
Thanks again..... Stan

If there is a cure for this, please don't tell me about it!!!

Getting out of the hobby?

I don't have a "dog in this race" but this post of Jared J's was found here on RR:

(Can't get the URL to function right. Time to cut and paste.)

Not exactly what I call "getting out" as claimed here. Makes ya wanna go "Hmmm...."

It sure made me go hhhhmmmmmmm. Maybe his version of "getting out of the hobby" is different than everyone else's??? Kinda like those electronics stores that have "going out of business" sales every 3 months.

know how you feel

know how ya feel, ain't about the money. just purchased heli package here, picked it up, brought it home, going thru everything, stuff missing. says forgot to put in his car and will ship it. I didn't forget to give him his money. says it's mailed, hope I get it. feel ripped off. found one thing don't work, waiting to get the rest before I say anything, no radio to check the electronics, hope they work. so dont see the point about only 25 bucks.

I guess everyones got a story....

I'm not sticking up for anyone, but I will tell you I personally know Doorman. His character speaks for itself. He would do anything for anyone and not say "Whats in it for me". I have ordered in the past many items that have been delivered wrong or missing pieces. Even the companies that sell the crap aren't perfect. Seeing that Jared J did not open the box prior to mailing it out to Doorman, he has no evidence that the product was what he thought it to be, thus, as a man of good character himself should just say "OOPS!, I'm sorry you received the wrong item. Please mail it back and I will be happy to send back a refund. After all, it's not a million dollars. It's all about good character and conscience. There is always room for skeptic thoughts when dealing with two people that have never met. Both sound sincere and I believe that the carb could have been packaged wrong at the factory and should be sent back to Jared J,and the money back to Doorman. If this does not work, then I'm going to have to call "Judge Judy!""

Here for a good time, not a long time!
