That blue ccmp raptor.50 is realy cool,where did you get that CCPM carbom fram with the blue spacers,and where did you get the canopy from,or is that your design

MAVRICK,

The CF frame is the older XeroG frame for their nitro engines. They now have a newer CF frame that is designed from the ground up as an electric Raptor conversion.

The canopy is from Zooms Heli, but I hear that they no longer do the custom air brushing. (That's too bad. I really liked their work.)

All the blue bling is from Quick UK and Quick Worldwide.

The ship flys really well. I'm not into the really hard 3D yet, so the heli still runs circles around me. Thanks for the compliments.

The one in my gallery was a custom made motor mount with custom modified Logo 20 gear to fit the Raptor one way. If I had to do it all over again I would get the XeroG 600ep CF frame kit with a boxed Nue motor. http://www.realraptors.co.uk/zen-cart-v1.1.3/index.php

Technically it's still a Raptor, but 85% of the heli is aftermarket. I started off with a Raptor 50 kit, but when I was done, I almost had enough parts for a second Raptor.

How well is that moter mount,it dose not look real stable.



I would have thought it would have ben better to have a moter mount like yours chuck hanger




I would buy it to do hard 3D and if I jamed the throttle up and down it looks like it would fall off


Is that a better moter mount then the eye can see,because im only looking at from a picture at Realraptor.com

Its mounted to the box which is solid.

The idea behind having the motor at the top like that is so it brings the battery up which in turn brings the heli's cg higher up unlike what the standard configuration is like (think of the pendulum effect )

If I buy it some day I would like to use a Hacker C50L or C50XL or maybe even a Hacker Ion-X moter will those work with that heli?
