Beginners Corner > Blade grips..how tight?

How tight should the blade grips actually be? The manual specifies "not too tight and not too loose." Are the blades supposed to move in the grips at all?

The rule of thumb is that you should be able to turn the heli on it's side, and give it a light shake, and they should stay in place.

Also if they are too tight you might get a shake in the head. The reason that will happen, is the blades have to be able to find center while spinning. The way I can tell if the grips are too loose, if you stop the head from spinning after a flight and one or both blades slide around, they are too loose. Snug them up a bit. Hope this also helps.
