Well, it had to happen. I had one of the pitch links that runs from the swash plate to the mixer arm fracture. Ihe metal shaft broke flush with the end of the control end. No biggie, or so I thought. But all the normal Internet sources for the pitch links are out of stock. Can anyone recommend a source that has stock, or if not, can you recommend the correct size replacements that I might be able to find at my local hobby shop (Hog Heaven Hobbies, Sturbridge, MA).

In advance, thanks much for your help and best regards,

It might help to know which sources you've tried. Check out the link in my sig. I've yet to see Heli-fever or helidirect both be out of product.

I found the parts I needed at www.mtahobbies.com. Reasonable pricing too. All the other major parts suppliers seemed to be out. So life is good and will be better in a couple of days when the parts come in.

Dave, no crash was involved. I changed a set of blades and was going to adjust tracking. I've been experimenting with different blade weights. And I have discovered that there IS such a thing a too much weight. I've also lightened a set of blades and discovered that there is also a thing such as too little weight.

So long story short, I snapped the link when I attempted to give it a twise of adjustment.

Let me know when your HB comes in. Oh, and the new job is going great.
