| I purchased a Venture ARF, and I have maybe a half gallon of flight time on it. I've noticed where the main gear has become very loose and is contacting the frame due to the amount of up/down movement, this is the gear that is mounted onto the main shaft. I've also noticed that when I rotate the rotor head clockwise to check the oneway bearing, I can watch the gear wobble up/down/all around, this gear is extremly loose on the shaft. There is also strange wear patterns on the teeth of the gear and the pinion gear off the clutch houseing, prob due to the amount of movement in the asmb. I'm concern because the gear is chewing grooves into the frame and the gear noise is growing louder. I have emailed this posting to Horizon to see what they might suggest, any ideas out here? |
