New Special Events for this year!!

Cowboys will have to corral several doggies using their helis!!

Gunfighters

Saturday morning at the pilot's meeting, all gunfighters will place their names into a hat. One name will be drawn out. This gunfighter will be given a special prize.

Until sundown on Saturday, any other gunfighter may call out the prizeholder. (Challenge) You can only challange once, and if you lose, you are dead. (out of contest)If you win, you get the prize and the former cowboy is dead.

There will be three "shootouts" events:

Target Shooting: Gunfighter will throw darts. Closest to the bullseye wins.

Last challange will not be revealed until the pilot's meeting.

This one ought to be a lot of fun!!

Hay Ruf have you got any updates about the Rodeo for us?
I have never been to one of these events but I have been fowling the Buzzin The Border thread and those guys have convinced me that I must attend one.We cant let them have all the fun!
Iv got a friend hooked on flying heli's but haven't quite sold his wife on letting him buy one yet. So I came up with a plan to take her to the Heli Rodeo to help lure her over to our side.

Not really much to update you on. The club is ready and just waiting for November to roll around.

We are going to have a good time. Our event is kind of different. This is a fun fly for the average joe. We have ten flght stations so you can fly as much as you want. There is no excuse for not flying here.

Tell your friend to bring the wife and kids. I'll bet he can find a good deal on a used heli (people are always selling at FF's) You can distract her by sending her over to the farm with the kids.

Yes and no. The original field was across the street but the farm sold that land. We now hold it in the rear parking lot (grass field) for the farm.

Rittenhouse Road has been closed between Power Road and Sossaman Road. I would suggest come down either Ellsworth or Ironwood Roads.

Oh you think so Eric?

I know what the challenges are........I am practicing every night!

It is a prize worth all the sweat and sore muscles.

Throw darts 400 times a night!

4 hours of Texas Hold'em online every night!

2 hours of .............

Thought I was going to reveal the secret challenge didn't you?

BWAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

Jeremy your going to have to do better than that. You see all those things you are practicing at the end of the day, well I start my day with them. Not to make you worry of course though, but I still make it to breakfast early. That is if I even have worked up an appetite after that relaxing warm up.

After I get the final adjustments done on my twin ram jets on the Freya I am going to own the barrell race event. That is if I can slow down enouph to make turn 3. You just tell Bryce to sharpen up those blades. No one wins 3 years in a row. But I'm not counting the years mind you. I'm also pushing for head to head tie breakers for the event.

Ahhh Eric,

You still don't get it. It is not the quantity of time spent practicing...........it is the quality of time spent practicing.

Sounds like you have much anger towards Bryce and his speed. This will lead only to the Dark Side of the Force. Clear your mind......feel your way around the Barrels...........see yourself already a winner.......or second place again!

BWAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
