the plastic blades that came with my ergo-30 ccpm are a bit warped. I tried using heat to correct the situation, and i'm close to straightening them out. Does anybody have a suggestion for a pair of alternate blades, such as CF instead of plasic? Thanks.

The stock T/R blades I got with my Ergo 30 CCPM where warped also. They are just soft and seem to straighten out when rpm increases. I bought a pair of Comp. KSJ blades as a spare (part# 7272) and they look straight and feel like a stiffer plastic. Mine are neon pink. Part# KSJ7271 are yellow. Only $6.95 a pair at Horizon.

BTW RCL.--- How do you like you Ergo 30 CCPM? Find any problems with it? It seems to be abit tail heavy don't you think?
I'm still working on the fine tuning stage.

quite tail heavy! - i installed a 2000mAh battery pack (C-cell) from SR to add weight to the nose. This did the trick. I broke my muffler pressure fitting last week so i installed a Hatori SB-8EX muffler and it's back to setting up again. After i re-adjust, if required, the carb settings, i can go back to my final setup. This is my first experience using a HH gyro - JR410-T - so it's taking a little time getting used to it.

I ordered a set of NHP tail blades today - probably overkill based on my flying capability. I should get some of the plastic blades for my flight box for repairs.
I would classify myself as a perpetual novice. Flew a Raptor for 2 years before i got the ergo. I do like the ccpm on the ergo. I had no problems setting up the machine (reading the instuctions numerous times probably helped). Being heavier than the Raptor is a plus for my flying capabilities
Keep me informed with your sucess with the ergo. Thanks for the tail blade info.

Yeah. Building it was very easy. I was not impressed with the stock main rotors though. Mine were way off balance and I ended up cracking the covering when one hit the floor during CG balancing. The CCPM is nice though. Being this is my first heli it took me awhile to grasp they setup of the controller. I only tried hoving it once but was abit unstable. Think the cyclic settings were off and had to re-adjust the lowstick pitch settings. Found the -2 suggested in the manual was abit too much.
I might think about get another rx battery made from c-cells like you did or just adding abit of weight underneath the rx tray.

Good Luck with yours also
