Kyosho Caliber 30 & 60 - Concept - Nexus > Concept 60 SRII

I have now been flying the Concept for one year and have used the following parts due to dumb thumb:

1 each Tail boom
1 each Tail rotor shaft
2 sets of Tail rotor gears
2 sets of TR blades
2 sets of Helimax woodies
1 blade holder
1 Hiller pitch arm
1 flybar
2 each vertical fin's
1 landing gear strut.

I have used the following parts due to wear and tear.

1 glow plug
1 set of decals
1 set of fuel lines

This machine has just over 50 gal of fuel through it and I need to know, from those with experence with it, to tell me where any "hidden" problem areas might be. I did a complete tear down at 6 months and found no problems.

SR60

I flew one for over 2 seasons. The nice thing about them is there is no hidden flaws in the design. You do need to keep an eye on the pins that go through the swash plate from the mix base. They can get twisted and cause slight binding of the colective system. I had a problem with the auto one way bearing that locked up but it was 4 years old when I purchased the heli. Do make sure you pin the tail boom to the frame so it cannot pull out during fast piroetes. The flapping dampers in the head wear out each season and I always replaced them at least once a year. The SR 60 also needs a strong collective servo, I used the JR 4721 and they worked great.

Thanks guys, I guess everyone has forgotten any problems. I just find it hard to believe how few problems this machine has shown (almost time for another "sticker" overhaul)

I see why your caution on the "wires" The SR is quite different from the SRII in that the "wires" run in a channel in the mast and the mixing base is driven by a timing pin running in another channel, no chance for twisting.
