| should also include a tip on lapping the top of the sleeve with emery paper to insure it has a true flat surface to seal against the head shim.
you take the sleeve, top down on the paper and apply even pressure as you slide it back and forth and alternate at 45* angles. Do this several times until the surface looks uniform.
while not totally necessary, I went ahead and had Polydyn apply coatings to my Hyper's internals Helps increase efficiency, decrease wear, less oil windage to create parasitic drag..all in small percentages of course...
also, the merits of going with ceramic bearings with composite retainers... the ceramics won't micro-weld themselves together if overheated and the composite retainer will never rust.
