Any comparisons to my post chaps please!!

Hi lozenge bush I have recently purchased the OS 91 SZ-H so I can do a comparison between my Webra 91 AAR and the above engine it was a hard decision really when I bought the OS because I wanted to purchase the Webra 91 competition but I will treat my self to one of those some other time. I just hope that the OS 90 SZ behaves like the OS 50 HYPER on a muscle pipe because I hated the standard OS50 it was a gutless pain in the arse I thought it was me so I got stung twice, But the hyper is the dogs bollocks!! So we shall see, has anyone else got some good results from the 90 SZ if so post it please! I will wait till spring when it’s not to cold to try mine out. Now! I might have to buy a 90 size gas engine to try out decisions! Decisions! cheer's Hayabusa

Hello,

I travel to the Nürnberg toy fair tomorrow and have a close look at the new motor at the webra both.
The engine is not available yet.

You will have less power with the petrol version, cooling is a big problem on most helicopters and weight is higher (about 780g).

When this motor is available I will try it in my Raptor 90. But I guess the cooling fan will be to small. But here in germany a Lötterle fan is available. So I will try this.

Mh, i run a standard OS 50 in my Sceadu 50. No problems so far.
I also have a 90 SZ-H but not mounted yet.

But don't expect the same power as from a 90 sized, 30% nitro engine.

Have you guys seen the BME contribution to the new generation of gas. They have a converted Supertiger 90 engine available now for 369.00. I'm waiting on the 51 conversion to come out in March.

hayabusa,
I have the .91Sz with a mpII in my R90. Let me just say, I think you will be very pleased with the engine. It is definately as good or better than the Hyper50.

Some arguments are sound and nothing more

Some time ago I got one for testing and put it in my MP91 135cm rotor, very well torque, more as with a methanol motor but on high output less then a methanol but well enough for all 3D stuff.
Flying time today at -5° cels with 530ml fuel, 1:23 mix and 4600g weight with fuel, 29min7sec.

Yo Hayabusa,
I have 12 tanks through my new 90SZ in the R90. It has transformed this heli from an annoying also-ran (with TT90) into what I always wanted - a heli that REALLY PERFORMS! It gets better every weekend as the engine settles. I am still running it rich and only on 15% so you can look forward to fireworks with 30%. Easy to tune & consistent & realiable. Starts first time every time as long as I remember to open the fuel clip! We fly at 4500' altitude in 28 degC weather so it will really hop at the usual altitude and ambient temperature.
Enjoy - I know you will.

WOW!!..OS 90 SZ...WEBRA 90 AAR.... + 90 PETROLS OK LETS GO!!!

Hi robhurlin this all sounds good to me, on the raptor 30 I used the OS46 on 30% it was the best at the time, then changed to the OS50 standard and tried it on both gear ratio's and hated it, well to be fair it was hot on the 30 ratio’s but I knew it wouldn’t last! And put the OS 46 back in, then came the OS 50 Hyper this engine is powerful and reliable it has been leathered with no problems (25+ gallons). So I am looking forward to using the OS 90 SZ with what is being said about it, I am also going to keep my ear pinned to the ground to see how these 90 petrol’s do when folk start using them the Webra looks good!! Just down load raptor gasser’s video!! It’s impressive, rob what pipe are you using on the 90! Cheer's Hayabusa

Hi Hayabusa,
I am using an MPII and it works fine. An Hatori might be better - you just have to get the right one. Wouldn't it be great to fly all day at the price of petrol?? I have a hunch it will be a while before we all move to petrol though. BTW, I maidened my new 50SE with Hyper and MPII a few weeks ago - I love it!!! Anyway, we hope you enjoy your SE
