| I finally got my CP upgrade and have the new freestyle 3d frameset coming. I started a build thread on rcg, so I will do a abbreviated one here. This is one of the preproduction set that was sent to me for evaulation and testing. the change between preproduction and final production is very minor, and these are setup like final version.(tiny amount of remachining)
I have the head mostly assembled now, and i can tell you, it went together very nicely. machining is first class, and fit is very nice. since this is such a nice head, I had to have a new frame set to go with it.
this is 120ccpm layout for the head, and is designed for 3D. Matt has done an exceptional job on this frame, and it is a beauty. I should have it in couple days.
anyway, matt has been flying the heck out of this head, this following pic is matt's bird. mine will be very similiar. I am also using orbit 15-18 with jazz, JR500t with 9253 and 3 DS368 servo on the cyclic.
I will be flight testing using both corona blade as well as 385 mm CF blade. should be fun.
