I thought it would be neat to let everyone show off their T-Rex paint jobs. I've seen lots of cool ones scattered in the posts, but wanted to get them all together for owners to get ideas and inspiration.

I only have a couple that are nice, but I have seen some that blow these away.

Let us know who did it too, chance to give the artist some credit!

So here's your chance to show it off!!!!

I painted the blue and white "grand furious" canopy that Modefo's sells. I got the decals from FX Aeromodels, they have several.

Ricko's Place did the red with checkers one, it's just an align fiberglass canopy.

Here are my Rexxy canopies....

Blue one by a guy I can't remember, he sold a few on Ebay, it is plastic, looks ok though. The Yellow FG I did, just the stock align fg canopy, then applied some decals I had made, then I clearcoated it to finish it off. The checkered one with yellow and orange Rickos did, pretty neat stuff.

And thats all folks....

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Mine is not nearly as cool as all of yours but what the heck. I know it is a little "bright" but at least I can see it really well.

Here are my two canopies, Got an airbrush for christmas and have been trying it out on my newest canopy. The First was made completely with Testors spray paint....

Two more of my new canopy on my new frame

Notice my new "official" Trex towel... hehe, $5 bucks from align...

But Honey, I can't live with just stock.....

Those are some great canopies for do-it-yourselfers. Especially on the first few tries.

about 3 hours of work or so in 2 days, it did not take much time to paint and marking,, but each layer of paint need to wait for dry then marking second layer... i am going to get a new fai body ($24) and doing different color scheme . metalic green and yellow...hope i not crash this time

Wow - some really nice paint treaments guys!

Very nice anodizing Scott - wonderful talent you have there. The paint is great, but the custom anodizing really makes them exceptional.

Here are mine:

This one is based on a Rick O design. I actually bought his canopy of this design and broke it on a nose-in crash shortly afterwards. My version of it is a little busy with the diagonal flags.

This one (my second) is an original design by me.
