Hi I'm looking for a fiberglass conopy for my new Ergo 30

I live South Australia so is some place down under to get one

good luck. I tried finding fiberglass canopy for Ergo30 a few months ago. KSJ used to make one but nobody has seen one in a long time. Hobbies and Helis has one available and it looks pretty good. Although not shown on the web site, I have heard that Steve Gray (http://members.home.net/flite-craft/) makes a Vigor looking canopy for Ergo 30-50 machines.

He has made mini vigor cs glass canopies for the ergo 30 and 50. You can buy them from him painted white or bare. They look sweet!

I know that JR offers a optional canopy called the Dragonfly JR #982018. I don't know if it is fiberglass or plastic. Does anyone else know?

Glass Ergo canopies

Cyberheli can usually provide JR parts and options not listed on their website. Try cyberheli dot com and give Stephen an e-mail. They ship all over the world, so OZ should not be a problem

JR has three canopies for the Ergo's . The first is called the Dragonfly and I believe it is for the standard Mix. Pn. 82018 around $55.00 US

The Second is called a Tempest and is for the CCMP version of the Ergo. pn 82117 around $65.00 US

The third is the Scorpion which is a front body and tail boom cover pn. 82173 apx. $240.00 US

Now for the bad news, Horizon Hobbies does not import these bodies to the U.S. and the only way to get them is through an overseas dist. someboby like Cyberheli.

I myself like the Tempest and am working on trying to get on.

JR offers those canopys and a few others. I have found when ordering up-grades or parts for my Ergo it is cheaper to use hobbynet-jp.com. I found them on the K&S website under links. Great service, took only ten days from Japan to Iowa. They have many JR and KSJ parts avail.

JR canopies

Hi Greg from a fellow Australian in Victoria & thanks to all who replied to his post.
I have been looking for fusilages for the Ergo 30 for a while; no luck.
I havn't even looked at the site yet but will shortly.
Were you happy with your purchase, have you tried it out & do you have a pic?
