| When you are using a non heading hold gyro, this is to be expected. Ever notice when you start forward flight, the heli wants to climb with less power than if you just punched out vertically? It is called transitional lift, and like the main rotor your tail rotor goes through trasitional lift also, causing an out of trim feel in forward flight. Mostly I got used to it. You could use a seperate flight mode for forward flight, But I like to stay in normal mode. things that can help are:
Bigger tail fin. probably wouldn't hurt to make one out of plywood for your first attempts at forward flight and autos, they are usually too short to keep the tail out of the dirt. This would create more resistance to tail commands and be detrimental to 3D type flying.
trimming your tail fin to compensate. Puttin an angle in it like a rudder command in a plank. this would be detrimental in backward flight though.
using counter rotating main blades wouls get rid of the tail rotor completely.
Get a heading hold gyro.
that is about all i can think of to help you out. I woudl say just get used to it, you'll be a better pilot for learning to fly the tail anyway.
