I am running a OS91 C-Spec Non Pumped with 8.50 gearing and 680mm blades will like to try 710mm in the future

my question is what head speed do i need to be at to be in the max power range or power bang of this engine ?

can the math wiz or the guys with the correct charts help me answer this question please

(i cannot lower the gearing to the 8.27 that everyone reccomends)

will the head speed change the rpm of the engine with 680 vs 710 blades

by how much and which way ?

Divide the engine peak rpms by the desired headspeed and that gives you the gear ratio you require...

example, 16,000 rpm on the engine and a desired headspeed of 1850 rpm will give you a needed gear ratio of 8.64

now its just a matter of finding the right pinion and main gear to maximize torque from the engine.
