I just ordered the white unassembled kit. Does anyone know if the training gear can be used with the new skids? My cp has been sitting for a few months after an expensive crash. With putting all new parts on it, I'd like to have the training gear on it till i get it dialed in and back into the swing of flying it. If it wont fit I can put off installing the landing gear till the heli is in good flying order, just dont want to install it then have to take it back off again.

You can attach the training gear with tie-wraps to the skids just like some do on other Helis.

When I added the white landing gear to my bcp I found the clips for the skids don't fit around the wider struts... I mounted my training gear with twister seals for plastic bags.. It's easy to put on and take off...

Tom..... No "D" flying....

thanks,
It never even crossed my mind to zip-tie them on, must have been having a brain fart.

I'm going through my blade and replacing alot of parts, has anyone tried these 3d paddles from helihobby?

They look like they could either make it a pain to fly, or make the responce alot better.I'm still at the hovering stage with some ff,not even close to doing 3d yet. Would these be worth buying or would they be a waste of money for my skill level?

Everything I've read has indicated that those paddles will make your BLADE CP far more responsive to collective inputs. As such, your bird will be quite a bit more challenging to fly.

I was thinking of adding a set of them as well, but seeing as I am just flying basic 8's and such now, I figured I'd wait untill I can push the envelope of what my Blade can do already.

The Super landing gear HEAVY. I found that I could not hover for more than 2 minutes before the Blade could no longer maintain enought lift. If you are still flying with the stock version (by this I mean flat blades and NiMH battery) you will have even more trouble by adding the training gear.

I would first remove my fly bar weights before I purchased the 3D fly bar paddles. I think this would give you an idea of how those fly bar paddles work before you invested the dough in them.

Want a better way of mounting the battery? I used the battery tray off the original skids, it will make it alot better to pull the battery in and out. Mount the stock battery tray to the front under the receiver, the battery tray is the same width and will slide right on.To mount the battery tray you may have to shave a little material off the back of the tray (where the rods go through) so it can fit between the front of the skid bracket and behind the lower canopy post. Use the two fiberglass rods that came with the skids but ditch the rubber tubing because it is to loose and will not hold very well. I used the E-flite Blade Cp mounting tubing and used eight (about 1/4 inch) pieces, two behind the rear brace, two in front of the rear brace, two behind the front brace and the last two in front of the battery tray. If any body needs picks I will try to post them tonight.
