| The instructions state to wrap the excess antenna around the 4-in-1 (or receiver, if you've gone seperates) before routing the antenna down the tube. I've done this, and the antenna doesn't hang out the back, I was able to install the cap at the end, and it looks super clean. Plus, I have experienced zero glitches inside or out, even in environments such as 20 RC guys flying around in a metal soccer dome with flourescent lighting. You can leave the antenna hanging out, but in my case it was like 5", and that's too risky IMO, for doing stall turns, let alone going inverted.
Bottom line: NEVER cut the antenna wire. Wrap and re-route all you want, avoiding carbon fiber pieces, wiring, and speed controllers where possible.
