| exactly, for anyone new to helis, and still wondering - the blade is a great way to start. I think I had about 30 crashes learning to fly on the blade, and so far It's helped enough I haven't had any crashes on my bigger electric and gas helis. The few dozen crases I had on the blade all required at most $10 to $15 bucks in repairs, and really only a few good ones cost money at all, most of the crashes onto soft ground were free of charge. Just straigthen the mainshaft and spindle and away you go again. I think my total in repairs going from zero heli experience to good heli experience and outgrowing the blade cp was about $150 bucks. To put it in perspective I have a friend learning on a raptor 30, his first 2 crashes cost about the same as all mine on the blade, and he still has a long long way to go. |
